Teen dead in Lower Manhattan e-bike crash
One person is dead in a bicycle collision in Lower Manhattan.
It happened at around 9 a.m. Wednesday at Centre Street and Chambers Street.
According to police, a 17-year-old was on an e-bike heading north on Centre Street when he collided with a Chevy Tahoe. The teen was killed in the crash. The driver of the Tahoe stayed on the scene.
The intersection was closed as the investigation continued.
