The September 11 Memorial and Museum canceled the event over safety concerns, but Tunnel to Towers stepped in.
"This will be the first year my husband and I won't be going to the memorial," said Tracy Gazzani, who lost her son on 9/11.

On Thursday, the New York City Office of Emergency Management put out a tweet indicating there would be military flyover Friday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. Friday, the Navy said it wasn't happening.
Both men were on the 110th floor of One World Trade at the time of the attacks.
