Entertainment buzz: Facebook's top 10 moments of the week

Ellen DeGeneres continued to make us chuckle this week with her parody of Matthew McConaughey's Lincoln car commercial.

Meanwhile, actors Emma Watson and Leonardo DiCaprio got serious during visits to the UN.

Facebook has tallied the top 10 buzziest stories in entertainment this week, and all of those topics made the most-talked-about list. What had you talking? See what you missed in this exclusive list on CBSNews.com.

1. Emma Watson discusses feminism at the UN and the launch of the HeforShe campaign

Emma Watson was named a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador earlier this summer, and now the actress and recent college graduate is speaking out about gender equality.

Watson gave a powerful speech at the United Nations headquarters in New York over the weekend to launch the HeforShe campaign, aimed at getting men and boys to become advocates against the inequalities faced by women and girls around the world.

2. Artist Sandro Miller produces retakes of iconic photographs -- featuring John Malkovich

Chicago-based photographer Sandro Miller unveiled a new project starring John Malkovich, which finds the actor taking on other identities -- from movie stars and politicians to musicians.



3. First episode of "Chicago Fire" season 3 premieres

The hotties of "Chicago Fire" are back on the small screen for a new season. This week's episode picked up where we left off at Firehouse 51 following a a major building explosion. Not everyone made it out alive. But we won't spoil it here in case you're not caught up...



4. Leonardo DiCaprio addresses UN climate summit

Emma Watson wasn't the only celebrity making headlines at the UN this week.

Actor Leonardo DiCaprio accepted the Clinton Global Citizen Award for his environmental work on Sunday. "Climate change is compromising the very livability of our planet," said a very bearded DiCaprio during his speech.

The actor urged the audience, filled with world leaders and philanthropists, "to put environmental issues at the forefront of the human agenda."



5. Ellen DeGeneres parodies Matthew McConaughey's car commercial for Lincoln

There's no question that Matthew McConaughey's car commercial for Lincoln is, well...a little odd. Ellen DeGeneres thought so, too, and decided to make a parody of the ad, which is pretty hilarious. DeGeneres thinks so at least. Or maybe it's just those pot brownies talking. Take a look:


6. Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa to divorce

Amber Rose is calling it quits on her marriage to Wiz Khalifa.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Rose says the couple split on Monday and cites irreconcilable differences. She's asking for full legal and physical custody of their 1-year-old son, Sebastian Taylor Tomaz. Both Rose and Khalifa have denied cheating reports.


7. Beyonce and Jay Z's "On the Run" tour special airs on HBO

Beyonce and Jay Z may have ended their joint tour earlier this month in Paris, but if you couldn't catch them "on the run" so to speak, you could watch the hot duo in the comfort of your own living room. HBO aired their tour special over the weekend, giving us a glimpse into their careers and lives. Who said anything about a split?



8. HBO announces that Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn will star in season 2 of "True Detective"

After weeks of reports, HBO finally announced that Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn will star in the second season of "True Detective." Farrell actually spilled the beans first, likely prompting the official announcement from HBO.

The new season's log line? "Three police officers and a career criminal must navigate a web of conspiracy in the aftermath of a murder."

Farrell will portray Ray Velcoro, "a compromised detective whose allegiances are torn between his masters in a corrupt police department and the mobster who owns him." Vaughn will take on the role of Frank Semyon, "a career criminal in danger of losing his empire when his move into legitimate enterprise is upended by the murder of a business partner."


9. New episode of "South Park" parodies the Washington Redskins

The "South Park" creators often take on controversial topics -- and now the debate over the Washington Redskins' name is in the mix.

The showrunners behind the animated series take aim at the Redskins' owner, billionaire Dan Synder, who has refused to alter the NFL team's name despite public protests and pressure from Washington.


10. "Key & Peele" season 4 premieres on Comedy Central

Comedy Central's "Key & Peele" is back with the comic duo of Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele. During the season premiere, they took on politics, female empowerment, military politics, race and more.
