The Writer's Guild of America has approved its contract offer from Hollywood studios
The board is calling it a major win as the three year deal includes higher upfront pay, artificial intelligence can't write or re-write scripts and it insures larger writing staffs. The members of the union, the writers, still need to vote to ratify the contract next month, but they can now go back to work during that process. The actors union is still on strike looking for their new contract.
