Sen. John Hoffman urging lawmakers to choose governance over grievance

Democratic state Sen. John Hoffman spoke via video at a national legislative conference in Boston on Monday. Earlier this summer, a gunman shot him and his wife, Yvette, in what prosecutors are calling a politically motivated attack. Former House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband were killed in the attack.
