Gov. Walz extends peacetime emergency amid Minnesota wildfires
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and other state leaders moved Wednesday to extend a wildfire peacetime emergency amid the Royal Canadian Air Force's successful mission to rescue two groups of teenage YMCA campers from Minnesota across the border.
