Actor Selma Blair was arrested after an incident on board a Delta Air Lines flight from Los Angeles to John F. Kennedy International Airport Sunday night.
About 30 flights were canceled on Friday following an electrical panel failure at JFK's international terminal.
Delta said in a statement that the plane "encountered birds following departure" to the Bahamas.
Port Authority staff evacuated 167 people from the plane using emergency slides, officials said.
"On the bright side, the cat's out of the bag and safely back home," a TSA spokesperson said.
