Wisconsin Waters Open Up For Fishing
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The wait is over for anglers in Wisconsin. The state had its fishing opener on Saturday.
The Wisconsin DNR says despite a longer winter, anglers can expect good-to-excellent conditions on most lakes. About 2 million people fish in Wisconsin, bringing in around 2 billion dollars to the state a year.
The Minnesota fishing opener is next Saturday, May 11.
