Wis. Man Arrested For Drunken Driving With 2 Children In Car

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A Wisconsin man was arrested Friday night for operating a vehicle under the influence with two children in the car.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation said 38-year-old Wesley D. Geyer of Osceola, Wisconsin, was stopped for speeding by the Wisconsin State Patrol around 9:30 Friday night. He was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

The children in the car are 8 and 11 years old. They were released to a family member.

This was Geyer's first offense.
