Video: Killebrew's Legacy Lives At Lakeville Miracle Field
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The legacy of Twins Hall of Famer Harmon Killebrew lived on Sunday at a special field in Lakeville, Minn.
Killebrew's wife, Nita, threw the first pitch at the new Miracle League Field, and WCCO-TV photojournalist Tony Peterson was there to catch the excitement.
"I felt like I was in a real baseball game," said one young man who had the chance to play Sunday.
During Killebrew's lifetime, the Harmon Killebrew Foundation donated more than $250,000 to Miracle League fields around the country.
