Girl, 14, Dies After Falling Off Cliff In Northern Minnesota
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A teenage girl died Sunday after falling off a cliff along Lake Superior.
According to the Lake County Sheriff's Office, the 14-year-old girl fell over the top of a cliff at Palisade Head near Silver Bay.
A group of bystanders rappelled down the cliff and administered first aid before she was airlifted to a hospital.
The sheriff's office said the girl died from her injuries.
A funeral home identified the victim as Bailey Belisle of Somerset, Wisconsin.
