Teen Charged With Fatally Shooting Sister

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) — A St. Cloud teenager is charged with killing his sister at a campground in Mille Lacs County.

Eighteen-year-old Luis Nahuel Rosa is accused of shooting 16-year-old Hennah Nicole Rosa after a confrontation at a trailer in the Rum River State Forest last Friday.

A criminal complaint says the victim argued with her father about a malfunctioning heater in the camper. Witnesses told investigators Rosa intervened, grabbed his sister by the throat and told her he was going to kill her.

The father, Fernando Rosa, told deputies his daughter went after his son with a knife before he shot her. The complaint says investigators found the victim dead on the floor with a knife in her hand. Some witnesses told deputies they never saw a knife in the victim's hand when she was shot. Court records do not list an attorney for Rosa.
