Northfield Man, 87, Killed In Head-On Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- One man is dead and one woman is seriously injured after a Ford F150 truck collided head-on with a semi on a Rice County road Friday afternoon.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the fatal crash happened at about 2:40 p.m. on Highway 19 and Decker Avenue in Northfield.
Dick Morgan, 87, was killed. His passenger, 81-year-old Joann Morgan, was seriously injured. They are both from Northfield.
The driver of the semi, 35-year-old David Thompson from Farmington, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The state patrol is investigating.
