State Patrol: 1 Dead, 1 Injured In Cottonwood Co. Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- One man is dead and a woman is injured after a crash Friday afternoon in Cottonwood County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the fatal crash happened at about 1:04 p.m. on Highway 60 near 570th Avenue in Mountain Lake.
A semitrailer, driven by 23-year-old Jacob Beckius of St. James, collided with a Buick LeSabre driven by 68-year-old Roger Richardson of Windom.
Richardson was killed in the crash. His passenger, 66-year-old Loretta Richardson, suffered non-life threatening injuries. Beckius was not injured.
The state patrol is investigating.
