St. Paul Police: Woman Doused With Gasoline, Set On Fire

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities in St. Paul say a suspect is in custody Monday after a woman was doused with gasoline and set on fire.

The St. Paul Police Department says that officers responded to an assault call around 12:30 p.m. on the 700 block of Conway Street. When they got to the scene, they found a woman with significant burn injuries on her torso.

Emergency crews brought the victim to Regions Hospital. Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

A suspect is in custody, police say.

No names have been released.
