St. Paul Suspicious Death Ruled Homicide; Victim Identified
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A suspicious death that took place in St. Paul Saturday has been ruled a homicide by the Ramsey County Medical Center, according to police.
At around 3:30 a.m. Saturday police were called to an apartment building located on the 1500 block of St. Anthony Avenue and found a man's body at the bottom of a stairwell.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Monday, St. Paul police identified the victim as 42-year-old Gracson Simmons of St. Paul. He died of a gunshot wound.
Police are asking anyone with information about what happened to contact them.
