St. Paul Squad Car Collides With Light Rail Train
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A St. Paul Police squad car collided with a Green Line light rail train Monday afternoon.
The crash happened just before 3 p.m. on University Avenue near Pascal Street. That's in between the Capitol/Rice Street station and the Raymond Avenue station.
Police say the officer in the squad car was treated and released at a nearby hospital.
Metro Transit sent replacement buses to transport commuters affected by the accident.
