Should WiFi Calls Be Allowed On Planes?
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The comment period ends today on whether or not people should be allowed to make WiFi calls on planes.
The Transportation Department says it has received about 7,000 comments, most of them from people who do not want someone talking on the phone next to them.
After today, the newly confirmed Transportation Secretary, Elaine Chao, will be able to decide whether to follow the previous secretary's plan to ban all voice calls on flights, drop the matter or make her own changes.
