Shakopee Hosts Native American Pow Wow Dance
SHAKOPEE, Minn. (WCCO) -- Traditional Native American music and dance was on display in the Twin Cities on Sunday.
Pow Wow dancers from across the country were in Shakopee this weekend for a dance competition. It included a variety of dance categories, as well as vendors of Native American crafts and food.
Organizers say the event is a way for the community to come together and celebrate their culture and way of life.
