Possible Data Breach Detected At Hotels In 10 States, Including Minnesota
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Several hotels may have been the victims of a data breach.
Hyatt, Sheraton, Marriott and Westin hotels in ten states -- including Minnesota -- may have been targeted by hackers for months. Malware may have collected hotel guests names and credit card numbers from December through June of this year.
At some of the hotels, people who bought food or drinks may have had their data stolen as early as March of last year. You should contact your credit card company if you notice anything unusual on your past and future statements.
