MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis police are asking for the public's help to find a missing 11-year-old boy.

Terrell Deandre Smith was last seen Friday night at about 6 p.m. on the 3000 block of 6th Street North.

Investigators say he was on his way to Farview Park, which is about one block away.

Smith is an African-American boy who stands 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighs about 90 pounds, has short black hair and brown eyes.

He may have been wearing a gray shirt and orange basketball shorts.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
