Police Release Vehicle Rendering In Burglary, Shooting
ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. (WCCO) -- The St. Louis Park Police Department is offering a $5,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for a burglary and shooting.
Police say the incident, which occurred on Oct. 27 on the 9300 block of Cedar Lake Road, seems to be a burglary that was interrupted.
The homeowner returned home around 2 p.m. to find the burglary in progress and was shot by the burglar.
The burglar is described as a black man, between the ages of 20 and 30, approximately 5-foot-8 with a slender build that was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
The suspect fled in a vehicle, described as a white, 1990s model Pontiac Grand Am or similar-type vehicle. Police say the unique detailing could help them solve this case.
A rendering of the car, as seen above, shows blue lighting bolts on the hood and sides of the vehicle. Police are asking anyone who may have seen this vehicle to call the St. Louis Park Police Department at 952-924-2618.
