Police: Mpls. Man Put Knife To Cab Driver's Throat
ST. CLOUD (WCCO) -- A 49-year-old Minneapolis man is accused of holding a knife to a cab driver's throat in St. Cloud, according to police.
Police say they arrested Phillip Jesse Baxter early Friday afternoon after they responded to a report of a second-degree assault.
An initial investigation revealed that the cab driver was assaulted and threatened with a box cutter-type weapon, according to police. The cab driver suffered only non-life threatening injuries.
Baxter is currently in the Sherburne County Jail.
