Police: House 'Shot Up' In Minneapolis, None Injured

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police are looking for suspects after a house was apparently "shot up" Friday night in Minneapolis.

Police were called to the 600 block of Russell Avenue North at about 6:47 p.m. on a report of shots fired. Disptach told police while on the way to the scene that a house had been shot up.

When authorities arrived, a 44-year-old female told police she was inside her home when she heard gunshots and started seeing debris flying around the living room. After the gunshots stopped, the woman saw that her house had been shot up.

Police said it appeared as many as eight bullet holes of a large caliber were seen that showed they entered through the front porch of the home and went into the living room wall.

The woman told police she didn't have any ongoing disputes with anyone and that her 27-year-old son got upset and stormed off when police asked him the same question.

Nobody was injured in the incident and no suspects have been arrested at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call Minneapolis Police.
