Plea Deal Reached In Hudson Shooting
HUDSON, Wis. (AP) -- A plea agreement has been reached for a Minnesota man accused of shooting at his son and three other teens at his former home in Hudson, then holding police at bay.
Forty-four-year-old Daniel Christenson of Lakeville pleaded no contest to three felony counts of first-degree reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of possessing a firearm while intoxicated.
The Star Tribune reports under the deal, the maximum prison time Christenson would serve is 15 years and nine months. Sentencing is set for April 5.
According to the complaint, Christenson came home from drinking at a bar on Oct. 17, 2009, and threatened to kill his son, who was home with three friends. The complaint says Christenson shot up the house.
A standoff ended when Christenson was shot and subdued by police.
