Train Hits, Kills Fridley Man In Oak Grove
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A train hit and killed a Fridley man who was on the tracks in Oak Grove early Thursday morning.
Anoka County officials say the 31-year-old man was hit at around 4 a.m. at 221st Avenue Northwest, just west of Highway 65. The train crew told investigators the man was sitting on the tracks before he was hit.
No word on why the man was on the tracks.
