Mother, 2 Toddlers Injured In Stearns Co. Rollover
RICHMOND (WCCO) -- A 27-year-old mother and her two 3-year-olds had to be taken to the hospital after a rollover crash near Richmond, Minn. Tuesday, according to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office.
At 4:43 p.m., a 2001 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Sandra Brix of Richmond, was traveling southbound on County Road 23 when she struck a mailbox. Brix then lost control of the car and entered a ditch, where the car rolled several times, authorities said.
Brix and her 3-year-old son, Corey, were taken to the St. Cloud Hospital by ambulance for treatment of unspecified injuries. Brix's 3-year-old daughter, Brooklynn, was transported to Paynesville Hospital by ambulance for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
