MINNEAPOLIS — The 2024 Twins' schedule gives fans ample opportunity to see their favorite MLB players at Target Field, or even head to an opposing ballpark on your bucket list.
The Twins take the diamond Thursday in Kansas City against the Royals for their season opener. The home opener at Target Field is on Thursday, April 4 against the Cleveland Guardians.

We compiled a list of big-time teams Twins will play ball against in 2024, as well as your favorite holidays if you want to head to the ballpark for a special occasion.
Prominent opponents coming to Target Field
- Boston Red Sox: The Red Sox will play at Target Field for a three-game weekend series May 3-5.
- New York Yankees: The famed Yankees will be here for a three-game series May 14-16 shortly after the 'Sox leave town.
- Philadelphia Phillies: The Philadelphia Phillies will be in Minneapolis July 22-24. The team won the 2022 National League Championship Series.
- St. Louis Cardinals: The St. Louis Cardinals and former Twins pitcher Sonny Gray head up north to Target Field Aug. 23-25 for a three-game set.
- Atlanta Braves: The 2021 World Series champs Atlanta Braves play the Twins right after their series against the Cardinals Aug. 26-28.

The holidays
- Mother's Day: The Twins will be in Toronto for Mother's Day, Sunday, May 12.
- Memorial Day: The Kansas City Royals will be at Target Field for Memorial Day on Monday, May 27.
- Father's Day: The Twins host the Oakland Athletics on Sunday, June 16.
- July 4: The Detroit Tigers are coming to town for an afternoon matchup on Independence Day.
Seeing the Twins away from home
- San Francisco Giants: The Twins will head to the bay July 14-16 to take on the Giants.
- Chicago Cubs: Do you want to see the Twins at Wrigley Field? They head to Chicago for a three-game series Aug. 5-7.
- New York Yankees: The Twins head to the Bronx June 4-6 to play at Yankee Stadium.
- San Diego Padres: The Twins travel to Petco Park at the end of summer. They play the Padres Aug. 19-22.
- Boston Red Sox: The Twins only trip to Fenway Park is their third-to-last series of the season. They will be in Boston Sep. 20-22.
