Minnesota Supreme Court To Visit Worthington

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- The Minnesota Supreme Court is traveling to the southwest part of the state this week to hear a real case in front of high school students.

The court will convene Wednesday morning in the gym at Worthington Senior High School. Students from Worthington, Murray County Central Schools and other schools in Luverne, Adrian, Windom and Fulda will watch the hearing.

Some 1,000 high school students are expected to attend.

Following the oral arguments, the high court will hold a question-and-answer session with the students and spend the afternoon visiting classrooms.

The trip is part of the Supreme Court's program to help teach students about the court system.
