LOWELL, Mass. (AP) -- Justin Jokinen scored three goals to lead Minnesota State, Mankato to an 8-3 win over Massachusetts-Lowell on Friday.

Rylan Galiardi had two goals and an assist and Michael Dorr added a goal and two assists for the Mavericks (3-6-4). Austin Lee made 10 saves in the third period and 23 overall for MSUM.

The Mavericks got a goal and assist from Ben Youds and a goal from Andrew Sackrison.

Marc Boulanger started in goal for the Riverhawks (2-9-2). He made 13 saves before being replaced by Doug Carr, who made 14.

Chad Ruhwedel, Joe Caveney and Maury Edwards scored for UMass-Lowell, which led 2-1 early in the second period.
