Mayor Rybak Crowd Surfs At Trampled By Turtles Concert
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – On the same day as his State of the City address, Mayor R.T. Rybak hopped into the hands of concert-goers and crowd surfed.
The surfing happened at a Trampled by Turtles show at First Avenue on Wednesday.
Before jumping, Rybak proclaimed the indie folk band "the pride of Duluth" and awarded them the day. A band member then said it was only appropriate, considering the circumstances, that Rybak do a stage dive.
