Man Shot In Torso After Fight With Girlfriend
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis Police are investigating who shot a man who was arguing with his girlfriend in a parking lot early Friday morning.
Sgt. Stephen McCarty with the Minneapolis Police Department said the incident happened just before 3 a.m. at Lowry and Fremont Avenues.
A man and his girlfriend got into an argument. People nearby overheard and tried to intervene, and that's when the man was shot, police said.
The man told officers he didn't know the people who intervened or the person who shot him.
Police said he was hit in the torso and brought to Hennepin County Medical Center
His condition and the names of the people involved have not been released yet.
