Man Found Dead In Minneapolis Overnight
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police are investigating what they are referring to as a homicide in Minneapolis early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to Park Avenue and 16th Street not long after 1 a.m. after a caller reported an unresponsive man who was holding a handgun.
Police at the scene requested paramedics from Hennepin County Medical Center, who shortly thereafter pronounced the man dead.
The victim was identified by the county medical examiner's office as 36-year-old Hussein Abdulwahab Hussein. His official cause of death was from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police are still investigating.
