Hunting, Trapping Wolf Season Starts This Weekend
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The second part of Minnesota's wolf hunting season starts this weekend. It includes both hunting and trapping.
This season runs through the end of January, or until 200 wolves have been killed.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources says hunters registered 147 wolves during the first part of the season, which ended last weekend. That's about 50 fewer than the target number.
Critics have said the hunts are not needed, since wolves just came off the Endangered Species List.
