Hairball replaces Rod Stewart show at Minnesota State Fair Grandstand
Hairball, an '80s rock 'n' roll tribute band, will replace the Rod Stewart show at the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand that was slated for Sept. 1.
Stewart, 81, canceled his show to recover from a "routine coronary stent procedure," his team said.
On Friday, state fair officials said Hairball and special guest Slave Raider will be performing instead of Stewart.
Hairball performs '80s tributes to Van Halen, KISS, Mötley Crüe and Queen, among others. Their shows often feature pyrotechnics and lights.
Slave Raider, a heavy metal band, formed in the 1980s in Minneapolis.
The show starts at 7 p.m. and is free with fair admission.
