Man Hospitalized Following Shooting In S. Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – One man has been hospitalized following a shooting in south Minneapolis Tuesday.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, around 11:30 p.m. officers responded to a call of a shooting victim on the 4700 block of Cedar Avenue South.

Upon arrival, police found a man suffering multiple gunshot wounds. He had apparently driven himself to a Super American at Cedar Avenue and Minnehaha Parkway following the shooting.

Police said he was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he is in stable condition.

He name has not yet been released. Police said he is not being cooperative.

Anyone with any information about this shooting is asked to call Minneapolis police.
