Funeral For Martin Sabo Slated For Saturday
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Funeral arrangements for former Minnesota congressman Martin Sabo have been announced.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis.
It is open to the public.
Sabo died on Sunday after battling breathing problems for several years.
He served 18 years in the state legislature and 28 years in the U.S. House before retiring in 2006.
Sabo leaves behind his wife, Sylvia, two daughters and six grandchildren.
He was 78 years old.
