Driver Loses Control On I-94, Crashes Into Squad

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The State Patrol is investigating after a trooper was hit by a car on the side of Interstate 94 Friday night.

The trooper was assisting a driver that had gone off the road on I-94 near Highway 55 just after 6:30 p.m.

A car heading south lost control and hit another vehicle. That vehicle then hit the trooper's squad, the State Patrol said.

No one suffered serious injuries.
