Semi truck carrying hundreds of turkeys crashes on highway south of Twin Cities, sheriff says
A roadway south of the Twin Cities is expected to be closed for several hours after a truck carrying hundreds of turkeys rolled over, officials said.
The crash happened on southbound Highway 47 near 265th Street, the Dakota County Sheriff's Office said. The semi truck was carrying about 800 turkeys.
Drivers are asked to use an alternate route.
