Motorcyclist Dead After Hitting Cow On Wis. Roadway

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Wisconsin man is dead after crashing his motorcycle into a cow over the weekend.

It happened just before 9 o'clock Saturday night in Rock Elm Township.

The Pierce County Sheriff's Office says 56-year-old David Kelch, from Arkansaw, Wisconsin, was driving south on County Road S when his motorcycle hit a cow that was in the roadway.

He was pronounced dead before reaching the hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
