CLOQUET, Minn. (AP) -- A 26-year-old Cloquet woman was shot with a Taser and arrested after police say they found her standing with a knife over the body of a bloody, seriously wounded man.

Police Chief Wade Lamirande tells the Duluth News Tribune it happened late Friday after police responded to a report of a woman trying to stab a man on the deck of a home.

Officers reportedly saw the woman standing over the 25-year-old man with her arm raised and holding what the officer thought was a knife. She refused to drop the knife, police say, and said she would send the man to the devil.

She was arrested. The man was taken to a hospital.

Police said the stabbing was the culmination of a domestic dispute.
