Pedestrian killed in overnight hit-and-run in Brooklyn Park, police say

A driver hit and killed a pedestrian in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, early Tuesday before leaving the scene, according to police.

The Brooklyn Park Police Department said the crash happened around 1:20 a.m. at Highway 252 and 73rd Avenue North.

The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating. Few other details were immediately available.
