Bloomington Officers Foil Assault, Arrest Suspect After He Crashes Stolen Minivan
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (WCCO) -- Police officers happened upon an attack in progress Wednesday in Bloomington, which led to the suspect crashing a stolen minivan into a light pole.
Police say officers heard a woman screaming for help from inside a vehicle. When they approached, the suspect tried to flee but lost control and crashed. No one was hurt.
Police didn't release the location of the assault, or the time it occurred.
