Best Of MN: U Of M Sports Bar

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Where's the best place to proudly tout your maroon and gold gear?

WCCO viewers picked the Best Sports Bar near the U as Stub & Herbs.

At an institute of higher learning such as the University of Minnesota, there are certain traditions you'd expect to find.

Students studying on the mall, visiting the library, the student union and the college pub.

At the U of M, you'd be hard-pressed to top the tradition found at Stub & Herbs -- it's been around since World War II.

It has seen dozens of Frozen Fours, Final Fours -- even a few of football national championships. And they still pack 'em in on gameday.
