An Alligator On The Loose In Minnesota?
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- An unusual call to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office Thursday led to a surprise discovery in Rockville, Minn.
The caller was out mowing a lawn near a wetland area and spotted a two-foot alligator in the grass.
A deputy responded and noticed the alligator did not move as he walked closer to it.
Using his baton, he soon discovered the alligator was a plastic toy.
The sheriff's office says it was safely removed.
