St. Cloud Man Arrest For 9th DWI; Was Driving With Tire Missing
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A St. Cloud man was arrested early Saturday morning in Wisconsin on suspicion of his ninth drunk driving offense.
The Wisconsin State Patrol says a trooper pulled over 47-year-old Shawn Harstad on westbound Interstate 94 after they noticed a sparks flying from a vehicle.
The trooper observed that one of Harstad's tires was missing, and he was driving on a brake rotor.
Harstad has eight previous drunk driving convictions.
