4 Things To Know: 5-Year-Old Girl's Death, Zika & Susan G. Komen

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Here's a look at the four things you need to know for Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016.

Number One: Man Accused Of Killing 5-Year-Old Girl

Investigators say 26-year-old Zach Anderson of Coon Rapids triggered an Amber Alert Saturday afternoon after taking 5-year-old Alayna Ertl from her home in Watkins.

Anderson was staying with the family overnight.

By Saturday evening, authorities found the little girl's body nearly two hours from her home in Cass County.

Number Two: Nurses Meet On Strike

Union leaders for nurses at Allina Health met Saturday to talk about when they could go on strike.

Last week, the union rejected their latest contract offer in favor or an indefinite strike.

The last strike in June lasted one week.

The nurses are asking management to keep their union health care plans, but Allina is asking them to change to the same plan as its other employees.

The nurses must give a 10-day notice before going on strike.

Number 3: Zika Zone In Miami

Miami Beach is warning people they could be fined if they have standing water on their property which could breed more mosquitoes.

The CDC is warning pregnant women to avoid that area.

The Ziki virus, which is carried by mosquitoes, can cause birth defects.

So far, 36 people have been infected with the Zika virus in Florida, five of them in Miami Beach.

Number 4: Susan G. Komen Race Continues

The event comes to an end Sunday at Harriet Island in St. Paul.

Participants are walking a total of 60 miles to try to bring an end to breast cancer.

They walked 20 miles on Friday, 20 miles Saturday, and they have 20 more miles to walk Sunday.

Each walker raised at least $2,300.

A closing ceremony begins at 4:30 p.m.
