4 Things To Do Today From Saturday, June 4, 2016
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Despite some scattered showers, this first weekend of June will be a lovely one -- so get ready to hit up these four events that Rachel Slavik and Mike Augustyniak covered on WCCO 4 News Saturday Morning!
1. It's family weekend at the Flint Hills International Children's Festival in St. Paul. There is dancing, music, shows, food -- something for everyone. It runs Saturday and Sunday. The outdoor shows are free and the indoor shows will cost you $5.
2. It's National Trails Day, and there are events going on across the country to celebrate. The day is designed to promote and celebrate the importance of trails in the U.S. It includes hiking, biking, horseback riding paddling trips and more.
3. The 50th annual Edina Art Fair continues Saturday on 50th and France. About 300 artists will have their collections on display. There's also a kids zone, beer garden, food court and entertainment. The event runs through Sunday.
4. It's double the fun in St. Paul. This year's Grand Old Days now spans over Saturday AND Sunday! Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. It's free to attend.
