MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Four flight attendants have been evaluated after a Spirit Airlines flight -- coming from Minneapolis-St. Paul International airport -- landed in Baltimore, Maryland Friday morning.
According to the airline, the Baltimore-bound flight 614 from Minneapolis landed safely at Baltimore-Washington Thurgood Marshal Airport following a report of a medical emergency.
Spirit officials say the incident is not related to COVID-19, and that no passenger needed medical attention. The plane will now undergo maintenance checks and a deep cleaning.
CBS News' Kris Van Cleave says the attendants reported feeling light headed during the flight and area being checked out at a hospital.
In chopper footage, it appeared that two people in what looked like hazmat suits entered the Spirit plane that just arrived at the terminal.
