2 Cars Crash Through Ice In SE Minnesota Train Derailment

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Crews in southeast Minnesota are working to clean up a train derailment that occurred overnight.

The CBS Affiliate there is reporting several cars of a Canadian Pacific mixed freight train went off the tracks late Tuesday night near Reno.

Two train cars went through some nearby ice and into the water.

A hazmat team determined nothing was dangerous about the one car carrying hazardous material.

The Houston County Sheriff's Department said no one was hurt.
